Around the world, some 26,500 children die every day.

That is equivalent to:

• 1 child dying every 3 seconds
• 20 children dying every minute
• A 2004 Asian Tsunami occurring every week
• Some 60 million children dying between 2000 and 2006
• Almost 10 million children dying every year

The silent killers are preventable diseases and illnesses, poverty, hunger and other related causes. In spite of such ongoing catastrophe, it rarely manages to achieve, much less sustain, prime time headline coverage.

There are 2.2 billion children in the world.

Millions of children around the world are living in desperate poverty, with no medical care, no education, no shelter, no decent clothing, and above all, no hope for the future. Rahmans Trust is dedicated to helping these children in providing basic healthcare, one child at a time.

What We Do

Rahmans Trust’s goal is to help provide the basic necessity (healthcare) for impoverished children and focus on integral development that seeks to reduce the root causes of deseases and mal-nutritions, not just its consequences.
